About me
Iām a fully qualified psychodynamic counsellor and work with adults in my private practice. Prior to opening my private practice, I worked for a number of years for counselling agencies in London and Gloucestershire, delivering low cost therapy to adults of all ages.
I trained in London (WPF Psychotherapy) and Gloucestershire (Gloucestershire Counselling Service), and work with issues including anxiety, depression, low self esteem, stress, relationship difficulties & divorce, trauma and loss.
I have a particular interest in family issues, which might involve difficulties in relationships with parents, siblings, children or partner. Prior to training as a therapist, I worked with organisations such as Netmums, supporting new mothers and I now volunteer for a local charity that delivers free counselling to parents of under 18s.
I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework, meaning that I work professionally, safely and confidentially. My training was accredited by the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC).
